Healthy Food For Life

How can our life become longer?

How can we make our body healthier?

The answer is choosing and eating the right foods. Because with eating the right foods may will help to increase our life expectancy as well as the quality of our life.

But, what foods are good for our bodies?

From many source we conclusion there are foods, that designed to give us vitality and all around good health to our bodies!

First rank, Beans

All of beans family give us high vegetable protein. Such as kidney, navy, lentils and chickpeas. Because beans is plant protein so it contains very little fat, carbs and calories. If fiber is a problem in our diet, eating a healthy portion of beans each day can keep our digestive system healthy.But, don’t forget to take precautions before you eat them, such as soaking them in order to keep away gas of it.

Second, Oatmeal

Oatmeal also can make our blood cholesterol lower.

We can buy it in market or eat the instant kind if we are in a hurry. We also can make it by rolled oats. Oatmeal have a lot of fiber that will make our blood sugar become constant and save our hunger longer.

Third, Fruits

Fruits are filled with antioxidants such as Vitamin C and A. Also vitamin B (niasin, riboflavin, folat acid), vitamin C, and vitamin K. Fruits also contains phytochemical that take a role in health. Example to give the immune system.

Fourth, Allium foods

Includes garlic, onions, leeks and shallots. Garlic is known for lowering cholesterol. Allium vegetables healp guard the body against the risk of cancer and many other ailments. They also can make our blood pressure lower and prevent blood clots. Eating garlic can increases our health benefits

Fifth, Salmon

Delicious food…, hope you agree.

All of us love salmon because with eat this kind fish will reduces the risk of heart disease and other conditions like atherosclerosis. Salmon rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Don’t you know, wild salmon is a fatty fish but it contains good fats. This fats has been proven to improve health in children and adults. Salmon is also rich in protein which is of great use after an exercise session to build muscle tissue.

Sixth, Flax Seed

It is also contains omega-3 fatty acids from vegetable family. These seeds also contain omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids. With eat flax seed, we can get a lot of power to fight high cholesterol, heart disease and diabetes. Ground flax seed can be added to fruit smoothies, sprinkled in yogurt, or eaten with cereal and added to pancake mix.


Peppers are foods in many color. They contain antioxidants like beta-carotene and Vitamin C. Peppers range from mild and sweet until so hot and very hot. All peppers contain a substance called capsaicin. Capsaicin has the properties of an anti-inflammatory, a pain reliever, lowers cancer risk and heart disease. We can use in our salads, and all sorts of dishes.

Eigth, Nuts

Nuts are high in good high fat. Peanuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, walnuts and pistachios are all providers of good fats and protein. Crush them into a fine powder and we can use as a coating instead of higher carb bread crumbs. Nuts help to lower cholesterol. But, don’t forget to eat them right out of the shell with no additives.

Nineth, A├žai

Not all people know about this food. This berry has been in the news lately. Acai rich in antioxidants and increases energy. We can get more done and look better while doing it. Or, we can get Acai juice in our health food store.

Tenth, Yogurt


Yogurt is fat free variety food. Yogurt contains calcium, greats vitamin B, and protein. If you have lactose intolerance, yogurt is an alternative to get calcium in our bone. Calcium will help us to build strong bones and teeth. Live yogurt also contains friendly bacteria to help promote a healthy digestive system.
